Mindfulness classes are also available on a one to one at my Practice Centre in Walton on the Naze.

Mindfulness is Awareness

Awareness of the present moment

This moment that you are in right now.

Mindfulness encourages us to

to slow down and take the time to pause, rest, enjoy and engage with life with a relaxed, calm awareness of all that is around us and within us, in any one moment.


Mindfulness invites a way of experiencing life with less focus on the events from the past or the events of the future.

Imagine the joy of having less mental chatter, stressful thoughts and worry.

Each time we invite our attention to our breath, sights, sounds, sensations, feelings, tastes and textures of the present moment, our mind with it's constant wanderings and ruminations is interrupted and becomes quieter.

If you are a worrier or an anxious person you have probably become very good at worrying and feeling anxious.

Mindfulness practice helps with understanding how your mind works.

Imagine having more control of your mind, instead of your mind controlling you.

To learn more and experience the benefits of Mindfulness, Meditation and Relaxation come along to a class or sign up for one of the courses.


Try this Mindful breathing meditation:

Sit comfortably in a chair, bring your attention

to each full breath. Stay for a while. It feels relaxing and you will be giving your sympathetic nervous system a rest.

When you pay attention and focus on your inhalation and exhalation, your body begins to relax and your mind becomes quieter.

THE YOUTH MINDFULNESS KIDS PROGRAMME

is taught in the classroom to children aged 7-11 yrs

a unique experiential learning programme offering an introduction to Mindfulness.

The 16 lessons build up sequentially introducing new facets of mindfulness with each lesson.

The first six lessons focus on on cultivating the core concepts of mindfulness: attention, intention and attitude.

As the course progresses children will learn to cultivate gratitude, kindness, resilience and willpower.

Children will learn about themselves and how to manage emotions and challenges in life.

Importantly the key foundations of mindfulness i.e paying attention to the present moment with openness, curiosity and warmth are continually strengthened throughout all 16 lessons.

A fantastic opportunity for kids & their parents to experience and learn the basics of Mindfulness together.

The sessions will be fun, relaxed and experiential Inspirational ideas will provide an introduction to Mindfulness

to improve concentration, attention and resilience. Learn how to manage strong emotions like anger, frustration and fear.
