My name is Nicola.

I offer Mindfulness, Meditation & Relaxation classes

5 or 8 week mindfulness courses in the workplace

I qualified as a Mindfulness, Meditation & Relaxation Instructor in 2014

and as a Youth Mindfulness Kids Programme Teacher in 2017

I have a strong personal practice and regularly attend cpd courses and retreats

My background includes working as a complementary therapist since 2010

I am the owner of the Solely Reflexology & Relaxation Centre based in Walton on the Naze. Essex



Mindfulness is awareness of the present moment

paying attention to the present moment

Drop your awareness into the present moment. What can you hear right now? You can’t hear the past, you can’t hear the future. You can only hear the sounds of the present moment. The here and now.

The moment that you are exeriencing is right now.

A Mindful Breathing Meditation.

Sit comfortably in a chair, bring your attention to each full breath

Stay a while. It feels relaxing.

When you pay attention and focus on your inhalation and your exhalation your body begins to relax and

your mind becomes quieter.

Mindfulness practice will encourage your mind to rest from the constant and ruminative thinking about the past and the future.

Your body will relax and feel less tight and tense.

Your mind will be quieter

You may have a feeling of inner peace

The benefit of Mindfulness is to

slow down,invite time to stop, rest, enjoy and engage with life in a way that is always present. Live a life that is fulfilling with less mind chatter, stressful thoughts and worry.

With Mindfulness training you can learn to be

in control of your mind, instead of your mind controlling you.

It is anticipated that local courses will soon be available for small groups of attendees in local venues hopefully starting in May 2018
